The ballpoint pen writes nicely and smoothly. It is retractable via twisting motion of the tip, and you can pull the entire mechanism out to replace the ink.

The body has flat edges and it works as a ruler – it has measurements in cm, inches, 1/100 m, and 1/200 m. The ruler is precise in measurement, when tested with a measuring tape. Obviously only being a few inches long, you can’t use it like a measuring tape.

The bubble in the level is accurate and easily seen. The stylus is located at the tip (where you will expect an eraser on a pencil) and it works fine on smartphones and tablets.

When you unscrew the top, you will find screwdriver bit with Phillips and flat head, which you can screw it on the pen tool, turning it to a screwdriver. The bit is of a fixed size, so we can’t expect it to work on all screws.

The nice and bright yellow housing makes it looks like a pencil but more importantly, causes it to stand out from everything else on your workspace, so you won’t misplace this multi-tool.

It is made of solid aluminium which adds a little nice weight, so it is not something you would easily drop and not notice.
