I bought this for my husband, who was having trouble sleeping with the ambience light from outdoors. He has used different masks over the last several years. He likes this mask the best. It comes with a stretchy velcro strap. At its loosest, it is a little tight for him wearing strapped around his head all night. But I like it more as the cups for my eyes come out fairly high, because then I can open my eyes without my eyelashes rubbing against the mask.
It is great to know that Nidra has product tested the mask “with back, side and stomach sleepers with a >95% satisfaction rate.” They are aware that (1) Each person has a unique contour to their face, eyes, and head and has different preferences for what they find comfortable, (2) the one-size fits all mask may not fill all customers’ needs.
There were some customers who complain that this mask was actually too small for their heads, so this was the mask size that fit the majority of their product testers. We would suggest that you tighten the adjustable straps all the way so that the mask is tighter around your head, and play with the positioning on your head, avoiding it to go over your ears if possible.
