Sprinkle chia seeds onto salads, soups, yoghurt, even into sandwiches and wraps. Use chia in recipes that call for sesame or poppy seeds. Add to muffins, bread, cookies and cakes. Chia absorbs 9-12 times its weight in water and can make a delicious tapioca-like pudding.

I had heard lots of testimonials from friends who consume Chia seeds – how this superfood amazingly improve their health etc. I did more research and found some interesting info. They are full of omega 3’s. They give you energy. They expand 12 times there size if you use them correctly. They contain protein as well as fiber. 1 tbsp equals the protein of 1 egg. They help to regulate cholesterol. The list goes on and on.
You can consume them together with water, or beverages smoothies, and yogurt etc. They don’t have any taste so they blend into everything. Just try not to eat it on its own as it may dehydrate your system.
