The Smartphone Alerting Bike Alarm is a bicycle alarm that that foils bicycle thieves by automatically alerts your smartphone when your bike is about to get stolen.
The alarm looks like a regular bike light that attaches to the seat post; whenever you ride a bike, the alarm’s light can be turned on to alert drivers to your presence. Beyond a regular bike light, it also has a built-in motion-sensor that detects movement and instantly sends a notification to a smartphone via Bluetooth. Do take note that the alarm itself is good for notifying a smartphone up to 80′ away.
In addition, it also has a built-in GPS, so you will be able to track your bike’s location, thanks to a free app.
The rechargeable battery lasts up to 2 weeks, after a two-hour charge via the included adapter. Do remember to keep the battery charged up regularly.
